FAQ
Which OS is Weezo available for ?
Weezo is only available for Windows XP / 2000 / 2003 / Vista.

Of course, your Weezo personal site can be accessed with any web browser on any platform be it Windows, Mac, Linux or even a PDA or a Wii.
Moreover, your computer must access the internet through a high-speed connection (DSL, cable ...).
Does Weezo work through a router or a firewall ?
Yes, it does !
Though you must configure them so that :
- they accept incoming connection onto the TCP port used by the Apache HTTP server (80 by default or 443 if you chose a secured SSL connection) and redirect them on your computer : users access your site through this connection.
- they authorize the Weezo software to connect to the internet (only if you use Weezo redirection service : the software sends Weezo central server its IP address, its status and the status of your contacts).
A button on the start-up page ("Test Server Access") allows you to verify the access to your Weezo personal site from internet.
Where can I find some help to configure my router and firewall ?
You can check our help section where there is a short how-to to help you through the needed steps.
The procedure though is not that different from what you would do for a P2P software like emule or bittorrent.
You can read the online help for configuring emule, it is understandable enough with a good bunch of specific examples (link). Do not forget to replace the emule local port 4662 by the Apache server port 80 (by default).
How can I have access to a Weezo personal site ?
You can directly access a Weezo personal site by typing the address "http://www.weezo.net/account_name" in your web browser.
You can also type the name of the Weezo personal site in the "Connectiong to a Weezo personal site" text box upthere on the right of this page. Yes, there.
